Sapan Parekh is the Associate Director of Service-Learning and Community Engagement for the RISE Learning Institute, an HIP-focused academic division of Bellevue College. He joined the community college to help relaunch its service learning program. To help this process, Sapan created and led a faculty learning community around service learning, a program that helped to introduce more than 300 students to service learning in fall 2017, the first quarter of the relaunch. Sapan previously worked in India in the social development and international service learning fields.
