Honoring the Knowers to Transform the Doers (Practice? Structures? Systems?): Fostering Epistemic Justice in Higher Education Community Engagement

Participants will gather as a learning community to explore the application of Miranda Fricker’s (2007) philosophical framework of epistemic justice/injustice to community-engaged scholarship and practice for the purpose of advancing diversity, democratic participation, and social change. Participants will complete readings and contribute to a discussion board prior to the session.
