This study examined the influence of an innovative science and service-learning (SL) instructional program on resilience of students at-risk. Students incorporated STEM and Creative Problem Solving to solve real problems in schools/communities. Results for exemplary SL projects suggest a small to moderate relationship between quality/standards-based SL experiences and student resilience.
