The purpose of this study was to examine faculty emotions in service-learning. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 11 service-learning faculty. Faculty reported experiencing emotions in response to four specific contexts: Interactions with the community, negative student performance, positive student performance, and the beginning of the semester.
